New Zealand Defeated Sri Lanka by 38runs - ICC Champion Trophy

New Zealand beat Sri Lanka comfortably by 38runs as New Zealand register their first win against the Lankans.

Earlier today Sri lanka Skipper kumar Sangakkara won the toss and elected to field first, New Zealand took the advantage of this, New Zealand opener batsmen Ryder and McCullum gave flying start of 125 partnership.

New Zealand lost quick four wickets when the score wa just 140runs, but Guptill, Vettori, Franklin and mills helped New Zeland to post a huge total of 315 for 7.

Meanwhile Sri Lanka also got a flying start with sanath and Dilshan smashed New Zealand all over the Ground, but lost quick wickets while chasing a huge total, Mahela and Kulasekara partnership kept hope alive for the Lankans.

Kulasekara remained unbeaten on 57.

India won Compaq Cup by 46runs - Cricket Score Update

India won the Compaq Cup by 46runs. It was the very close encounter with the Sri Lankan batsmen, Sri Lanka were almost within the reach of the total but quick helped India to clinch the Compaq Cup.

Superb batting performance by the master blaster, sachin scored 138runs off 133balls, sachin was well supported by Dhoni and yuvraj singh, Dhoni made 56 Yuvraj made 56 off 41balls which helped India to reach the respectable score of 319runs.

Sri Lanka got a flying start but were losing thier wickets at regular intervals, for sri lanka once again Kandamy played a courageous knock of 66 off 94 but this didn;t helped the Sri Lanka to clinch the title.

Sri Lanka early damage was done by the Harbhajan Singh who took crucical 5wickets which helped India to win the Compaq Cup.

Harbhajan singh got the star performance of the match.

Sachin Tendulkar got the Man of the Match and Man of the Series award

Sri Lanka made a brilliant performance against India, Indians once again failed to prove that they are the Number One Team in One Day International.

Earlier today Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat, Sri Lanka got a good start with Sanath Jayasuriya and Dilshan, later on Kandamby smashed 91 unbeaten to sri lanka mamouth total of 307.

India on other hand as usual lost Dinesh Karthik early. Indians were losing wickets at regular intervals, only Dravid made 47 which was the highest score for the Indians.
