South Africa Vs Sri Lanka - ICC Trophy - 22nd Sept 2009 - Cricket Score Update

After the defeat in the Compaq Cup from India, Sri Lanka will be looking the match against South Africa.

South Africa have good past record against Sri Lanka, But skipper Sangakkara said "Results don't depend on history", while history is against Sri Lanka.

While South African have set back while Herschelle Gibbs is out due to Rib Injury, Hashim Amla will open the batting for South Africa. Regarding the spin attack Skipper Graeme Smith said "Botha is one of the best ODI bowlers going around and he combines very well with van der merwe".
